After nearly 3 years of cancellation due to the coronavirus pandemic, the #Sapporo Snow Festival is back with more amazing snow sculptures than ever. With the 73rd edition of the festival taking place, attendees will have the opportunity to see snow sculptures with references to anime franchises and otaku culture, something many thought they would never witness again.
This year, the festival is held in two venues, #Otori and #Susukino, and marks the 100th anniversary of Sapporo’s incorporation as a city.
